(Tokyo) says it has reached an agreement to acquire packaging inks company Pacific Inks (Auckland, New Zealand). The acquisition will be done through DIC subsidiary DIC Asia Pacific (Singapore). Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. Pacific Inks has its main production facility at Auckland, and also has plants in Australia, China, Malaysia, Singapore, and U.K. Pacific Inks’ product lineup is centered on packaging inks for cardboard, and it also makes the environment-friendly water-based flexo inks.
