DIC reports fall in profits, sales

DIC Corp. (Tokyo) recorded an 8.7% fall in net profits for its fiscal first half, ended 30 September, 2012, compared with the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year, to ¥11.4 billion ($143 million). First-half sales decreased 7.7%, to ¥349.8 billion.
