Asahi Kasei expands production of phenolic foam insulation panels

Asahi Kasei says that its Asahi Kasei Construction Materials (Tokyo) subsidiary has added a new production line for Neoma phenolic foam insulation panels at its plant at Sashima in Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan. Asahi Kasei Construction Materials invested about ¥4 billion ($39 million) for this capacity expansion. The expanded plant was opened on 12 March, and the new production line will start up in April.
