Asahi Kasei Chemicals Builds Innovation Center

Asahi Kasei Chemicals (AKC), an Asahi Kasei subsidiary, says it has today begun construction of an Innovation Center at the company’s site at Kawasaki, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. The center will focus on R&D in the fields of monomers & catalysts, synthetic rubber, and performance chemicals. With the establishment of the center, AKC aims to accelerate both the development of new technologies and the creation of new businesses in these fields, Asahi says.
