Regions :: North Asia :: Japan Air Liquide Signs Contracts with Solar Photovoltaic Manufacturers12:07 AM MDT | April 26, 2011 | Deepti Ramesh Air Liquide says it has signed 15 new long-term contracts with photovoltaic industry leaders in China, Japan, Taiwan, and Germany. New installations of solar photovoltaic panels reached 17 gigawatt peak (GWp) in 2010, doubling the amount installed in 2009, Air Liquide says. Leading solar panel manufacturers around the world and in Asia in particular, are continuing to add significant new production capacities to cope with the growth, the company says.
