Sumitomo Chemical and Hitachi Metals to collaborate in exhaust-gas filters business

Sumitomo Chemical and Hitachi Metals (Tokyo) say that they have reached a basic agreement to begin studying opportunities for their cooperation on a particulate filter, a new type of exhaust-gas filter jointly developed by the two companies.
