Japan and Kazakhstan Plan Rare Earths Metals Alliance

Japan and Kazakhstan are planning to develop rare earths metals production facilities in Kazakhstan to cater for the electronics and automotive industries and to reduce Japan’s reliance on China, according to the Japan daily Asahi Shimbun.
