UK emergency response body partners with Chinese chemical registration center to assist with regulatory compliance in China

The National Chemical Emergency Centre (NCEC; Didcot, UK), part of the Ricardo Group (Shoreham-by-Sea, UK); and China's National Registration Centre for Chemicals (NRCC) have entered a partnership to assist companies operating in China and needing to comply with the country's regulations on safe management of hazardous chemicals, NCEC announced today. Companies registering hazardous chemicals with the State Administration for Work Safety (Beijing) have begun to face a "two strikes" policy, under which emergency response systems judged to be noncompliant...
