Westlake to Expand Lake Charles Cracker in Early 2013

Westlake Chemical says it will complete a previously announced 230 million-240 million lb/year expansion of ethylene capacity in Lake Charles, LA during a planned maintenance turnaround scheduled for first-quarter 2013. The company previously said it expected to complete the turnaround by the end of 2012.
