Valent advances $150-million biorationals project at Osage, IA

Valent BioSciences (Libertyville, IL), a wholly owned biorationals subsidiary of Sumitomo Chemical, says it is on track to bring a 15-million gal/year manufacturing facility online by spring 2014. The $150-million Osage, IA, plant will produce microbial insecticides, fungicides, nematicides, and plant growth regulators.
