Univar signs PVP distribution deal

Univar announced today that it has signed a deal to distribute polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP), a water soluble-polymer, produced by Chinese firm JH Nanhang in North America. JH Nanhang is the largest PVP maker in China, with production totaling 500,000 m.t./year, Univar says. The deal covers distribution to the pharmaceutical, personal care, food and industrial sectors throughout North America.
