UOP to supply technology for aromatics complex in Brunei

UOP, a Honeywell subsidiary, will provide technology for the production of aromatics at Brunei Hengyi Industries' new petrochemical complex in Brunei, Honeywell announced today. Brunei Hengyi is a a subsidiary of Zhejiang Hengyi Group (Hangzhou, China), one of the largest producers of purified terephthalic acid, polyester, and other chemical fibers in China. The aromatics products derived from the Brunei complex are expected to help meet growing demand for plastics and synthetic fibers in the region.
