Total settles with EPA for $8.75 million over 2007 settlement for noncompliance at Port Arthur

Total Petrochemicals USA has agreed pay $8.75 million to settle a lawsuit, in which the US EPA alleged that the company had failed to comply with the terms of a 2007 settlement addressing earlier violations of the Clean Air Act at its Port Arthur, TX, refinery, according to a statement issued by the US Department of Justice on 20 September....
