Sumitomo Chemical consolidates environmental health businesses in North America

Sumitomo Chemical says it has decided to integrate the environmental health business of its subsidiary, Valent BioSciences (Libertyville, IL), into the operations of another US subsidiary, McLaughlin Gormley King (MGK; Minneapolis). Sumitomo has an 82.36% stake in MGK. MGK, which was established in 1902, develops, manufactures, and sells insecticide products for household and public health uses.
