Stepan plans surfactants and polymer intermediates plant in Louisiana

Stepan announced on Friday that it is carrying out front-end engineering design for a $60–70-million chemical production facility in the industrial corridor of Ascension Parish in Louisiana. The company says it recently authorized the feasibility work and will make a final investment decision on the project in the second quarter of 2015. Stepan president and CEO F.
