Several feared dead and over a hundred injured following explosion at fertilizer plant in Texas

Several people are feared dead and more than a hundred injured after a huge explosion and fire at a fertilizer plant at West, TX, say local press reports. The explosion occurred at about 8.00 p.m. local time on 17 April, at the West Fertilizer facility, and the fire has also impacted nearby buildings and homes. Several buildings are still on fire and firefighters have been mobilized to deal with the incident. The extent of the devastation will be known on Thursday. West is a town with a population of about 2,700 people, and residents are being evacuated, reports...
