PPG awarded funding to develop isocyanate-free coatings

PPG Industries has been awarded $1 million by the Department of Defense's strategic environmental research and development program to help develop nonisocyanate liquid coatings that meet military specifications, PPG has announced. The funding will support the development of technologies that can be applied in the automotive refinishing, industrial, and protective and marine coatings markets, PPG says.
