Oxea Increases Carboxylic Acids Prices

Oxea (Dallas, TX) says it is raising prices for several of its carboxylic acids effective October 1. Their products are used incoatings, lubricants, cosmetics, pharmaceutical products, flavorings and fragrances, printing inks and plastics, the company says. N-butyric and i-butyric will be €50/m.t. in Europe, 5 cts/lb in North America and $100/m.t. in Latin America and Asia.
