Merck KGaA signs contract with Laboratory Skin Care for antiaging active ingredient

Merck KGaA says it has signed an agreement with Laboratory Skin Care (LSC), a privately held biotechnology company based in the San Francisco Bay area, for its cosmetic active ingredient Hydroxysomes Calcium. Merck, according to the agreement, will market the active ingredient globally as a cobrand under the name Ronacare Hydroxysomes Calcium as of October. In the interim, Merck will gradually take on the responsibility for marketing, sales, logistics, and application technology customer support.
