March CAB ticks up for eighth consecutive month

ACC released its chemical activity barometer (CAB) for the month of March—showing a 0.4% increase in activity from February, to 92.5, on a 3-month moving average (3MMA) basis. The year-on-year (YOY) 3MMA grew 2.9% from March 2012. Also, CAB readings for November through February were each revised upwards by 0.1%, bringing February's YOY 3MMA to a 3% gain.
