LSB earnings up despite production issues

LSB Industries (Oklahoma City) reported net income of $6.7 million for third-quarter 2012, an increase of 6% year-on-year (YOY). Sales for the quarter totaled $182.4 million, up 3.2% YOY. Operating income for the chemical segment was $7.5 million, up 6% YOY, while climate control reported a decline of 22%, to $6.8 million.
