Invista acquires flame-resistant apparel company

Invista announed today that it has acquired Ashburn Hill Corp., a Greenville, SC-based manufacturer of protective fabric technologies for fire service and industrial markets, for an undisclosed sum. The deal includes Ashburn's associated intellectual property—including the Tecgen brands—and a manufacturing operation in Texas.
