Regions :: North America :: U.S. Indorama confirms PET project in US, to debottleneck plant in Poland9:43 AM MST | November 16, 2012 | Deepti Ramesh Indorama Ventures (Bangkok) has confirmed plans to build a new polyethylene terephthalate (PET) plant in the United States. The company had first announced plans for the project earlier this year. The board of directors of Indorama, in a meeting held on 14 November 2012, approved the project. The PET plant will have a production capacity of 540,000 m.t./year, and it is expected to become operational in the fourth quarter of 2015, the company says.
