IHS: Rare earth prices to rise in 2014

Prices of rare earths edged down at the start of 2014 to their lowest levels since early 2011, due to lukewarm demand and healthy inventories, but prices will climb modestly as buyers return to the market during the next six months, says IHS Global Insight in a report published this week.
