Grace Acquires Chinese Waterproofing Materials Firm

W.R. Grace says it has purchased the business and assets of Wuhan Meilixin New Building Materials (Wuhan, China), a manufacturer of waterproofing products. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Meilixin has manufacturing facilities for the production of customizable, fit-for-use waterproofing membranes, materials and compounds, as well as administrative offices and warehousing operations at Wuhan. The facilities employ about 50 people. The acquisition will help Grace expand its manufacturing capabilities and gain an established distribution...
