Evonik demonstrates lightweight electric and wind-powered vehicle

The Wind Explorer traveled 3,000 miles in Australia. Evonik Industries in North America is traveling around the United States to display its Wind Explorer 200-lb lightweight electric vehicle after recently completing a nearly 3,000-mile trip across Australia using less than $15 of electricity, or 87 kilowatt hours of energy, the company says.
