Regions :: North America :: U.S. DuPont Invests in Carbon Nanotubes10:34 AM MDT | June 8, 2012 | Rebecca Coons DuPont’s protection technologies business has agreed to participate in an investment round for Nanocomp Technologies (Merrimack, NH), a developer of products based on carbon nanotubes (CNTs). Nanocomp says DuPont has also agreed to jointly develop products for ballistics protection and core structure applications based on Nanocomp’s CNT sheets and yarns. The Series C funding raised $25 million and is expected to close later this year. DuPont’s investment was not disclosed. Nanocomp will use the funding to expand its manufacturing capacity...
