Cheniere signs LNG agreement with Spanish utility

Cheniere Energy (Houston) has signed an agreement with Endesa (Madrid), the largest electric utility company in Spain, to provide approximately 750,000 m.t./year of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from Cheniere's export facility being developed at Corpus Christi, TX. The sales and purchase agreement is in addition to the previously signed agreement under which Endesa will purchase approximately 1.5 million m.t./year of LNG, bringing the total to about 2.25 million m.t./year.
