Chemicals sector rail traffic rises 3.6%

Chemicals sector rail traffic in North America rose 3.6% year-on-year (YOY) during the week ended 10 November, to 41,159 cars, according to the Association of American Railroads (AAR; Washington). US traffic was up 2.5%, to 29,539 cars. Canadian traffic rose 5.6%, to 10,378 cars, while Mexican traffic rose 14.9%, to 1,242 cars.
