Cabot receives activated carbon contract to supply Northeast utility company

Cabot’s purification solutions segment has received a $5-million contract to provide its Darco Hg-LH extra activated carbon to an undisclosed major power generating facility in New England. The contract will allow the major Northeast utility to meet state regulations for mercury emissions, Cabot says.
