CVR Partners resumes operations at Kansas fertilizer plant

CVR Partners, a manufacturer of ammonia and urea ammonium nitrate (UAN) solution fertilizer products, announced 7 August it has resumed full operations at its fertilizer facility in Coffeyville, KS. The company shut down the plant on 27 July to replace damaged catalyst and regain full production capacity. The repair was made, and the plant was brought back online on 3 August, the company says. The company is headquartered in Sugar Land, TX and its nitrogen manufacturing facility at Coffeyville uses a petroleum coke gasification process to produce nitrogen...
