CB&I and Zachry awarded contracts for LNG liquefaction terminal at Freeport

FLNG Liquefaction and FLNG Liquefaction 2 have awarded two contracts, each valued at approximately $2.5 billion, to a joint venture between CB&I and Zachry Industrial to build the first two trains of the Freeport, TX, liquefaction project. The project scope includes engineering, procurement, and construction for the conversion of an existing liquefied natural gas (LNG) regasification terminal at Freeport to an LNG liquefaction terminal.
