Balchem closes acquisition of SensoryEffects

Balchem says it has completed the acquisition of SensoryEffects, a maker of food ingredients, for $567 million. The deal was announced in early April. SensoryEffects will maintain its headquarters in St. Louis, and will continue to be led by current management, including current CEO Charles Nicolais, Balchem says.
