BASF completes $1-billion acquisition of US seed-treatment firm Becker Underwood

BASF says it has completed the acquisition of biological seed treatment firm Becker Underwood (Ames, IA) from Norwest Equity Partners for €785 million ($1.02 billion). BASF announced plans to acquire Becker Underwood in September 2012.
