BASF, Monsanto Plan 2012 Launch of Drought-Tolerant Corn

Kast: Industry’s largest R&D effort. BASF and Monsanto’s previously announced 50-50 partnership has developed a drought-tolerant corn trait that will boost crop yields by 6%-10%, BASF says. The companies plan to launch the corn trait in 2012 for planting in 2013.
