Arsenal Capital buys pipeline chemicals firm

Private equity firm Arsenal Capital (New York) has purchased Flowchem (Waller, TX), a maker of specialty chemicals for pipelines, for an undisclosed sum. The company makes drag reducing additives (DRAs) for offshore pipelines and has two operating facilities in Texas.
