Arkema to market PMMA/PLA alloy

Arkema and NatureWorks (Blair, NE) say they have signed a comarketing agreement for high-performance alloys incorporating NatureWorks' biobased polylactic acid (PLA) and polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) produced by Arkema subsidiary Altuglas. Primary marketing efforts will be in durable goods applications, the companies say.
