Air Products increases electronics materials prices

Air Products announced today that it is increasing prices globally for fluorinated gases and other process materials supplied by its electronics business, effective 1 January 2014. “These price increases are being implemented to recover increases in raw materials (e.g., anhydrous hydrofluoric acid), power, and distribution costs,” the company says. In October, the company reported solid fiscal fourth quarter results, ended 30 September—with strength showing in hydrogen, electronics, liquefied natural gas (LNG) and China. Net income of $137.1...
