Air Products-Linde JV Boosts Gases Capacity

East Coast Oxygen (Bethlehem, PA), the 50-50 joint venture between Air Products and Linde, says it has installed a new liquefaction unit at Bethlehem that expands the faciity’s capacity by about 600 tons/day. The plant makes liquefied nitrogen, oxygen, and argon gases for the merchant Northeast market. “This expansion gives us a cost effective means of improving our ability to supply a growing customer base and to strengthen our East Coast supply network, which runs from Maine to Georgia,” says Pat Murphy, president of Linde North...
