ACC's U.S. Production Index Falls 0.3% in April

ACC's U.S. Chemical Production Regional Index (U.S. CPRI) fell 0.3% in April with chemical production falling across all regions. The decline follows a downwardly revised drop of 0.4% in March. Using a three-month moving average (3MMA) of Federal Reserve data, overall U.S. manufacturing output rose by 0.3% in April. Several key chemical end-use markets increased, including motor vehicles, aerospace, construction supplies, machinery, computers, plastic and rubber products, paper, textile mill products and furniture.
