ACC's Economic Outlook for the week ended 7 December 2012

MACROECONOMIC STATUS Our running tab of positive indicators rose to 15 out of 20 this week. Thus, we continue to post a green banner, though one with a distinctly yellowish tint. Nonfarm payrolls up 146,000 Unemployment rate down 0.2 points, to 7.7% Construction spending up 1.4%; up 9.6% year-on-year (YOY) Light-vehicle sales up to a 15.5 million-unit pace Global semiconductor sales up 1.7%; down 2.3% YOY Factory srders up 0.8%; up 5.4% YOY ISM manufacturing down 2.2 points, to 49.5% (contracting) ISM nonmanufacturing up 0.5 points, to 54.7% J.P.Morgan global...
