ACC's CAB rises in November

ACC reported today that the group’s monthly Chemical Activity Barometer (CAB) rose 0.1% in November on a three-month moving average (3MMA) basis. The CAB is up 2.8% year-on-year (YOY) for November after small downward revisions for September and October, ACC says. The index remains at its highest level since June 2008. “The clock is ticking for Congress to strike a budget deal before we face another potential government shutdown, but so far, the U.S. economy is not showing any signs of concern,” says ACC chief economist Kevn Swift...
