ACC: Chemical production up in May

ACC says that, following a 0.6% gain in April, the US Chemical Production Regional Index was 0.4% higher in May and chemical output was higher in all regions except the West Coast. On a three-month moving average (3MMA) basis, chemical output was 0.5% higher for May. Within the manufacturing sector, outputs in many key chemistry end-use markets expanded. The markets include appliances, motor vehicles, aerospace, construction supplies, machinery, fabricated metal products, computers, semiconductors, plastic products, rubber products, plywood, printing, paper...
