Mosiac begins discussions on $700-million ammonia plant in Louisiana

Mosaic says it is beginning the front-end engineering and design work (FEED) on a $700-million ammonia production plant at its  Faustina site at St. James, LA. The project would nearly triple existing capacity of ammonia at the site—with the new production aimed for crop nutrient and fertilizer products at its facilities in Florida.
