Ube’s machinery business establishes subsidiary in Mexico

Ube Industries says that its wholly owned subsidiary, Ube Machinery (Ube, Japan), has established a new subsidiary at Irapuato, Mexico. The new subsidiary is called Ube Machinery Mexico, and it became operational earlier this month. The new subsidiary will be involved in the business of servicing and maintenance of metal and plastics processing machines. Ube Industries and Ube Machinery Inc. (Ann Arbor, MI) each own a 50% stake in Ube Machinery Mexico. Manufacturers in the automotive sector have expanded their production facilities in Mexico in recent years...
