Pemex establishes JV to import natural gas from the US

Mex Gas Supply, a subsidiary and the commercial arm of Pemex Gaz y Petroquímica Básica (PGPB; Mexico City), will establish a joint venture with Mercuria (Geneva) and JP Morgan to import natural gas from the United States to Mexico, the company announced. PGPB is a subsidiary of Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex). The jv will leverage JP Morgan's physical natural gas business in North America, which is in the process of being acquired by Mercuria, Pemex says. Mercuria announced in March this year that it would acquire JP Morgan's physical commodities...
