Regions :: North America :: Mexico Mexichem Fluor Acquires Showa Denko HFC Plant7:07 AM MDT | June 20, 2011 | Deepti Ramesh Mexichem Fluor, a subsidiary of Mexichem, says it has completed the acquisition of Showa Denko's HFC plant at Kawasaki, Japan. The plant, which was shut down at the end of 2009, has a production capacity of 10,000 m.t./year and can selectively produce R-125 or R-134a. The plant is currently in the process of being recommissioned and will begin production during the fourth quarter of 2011.
