Regions :: North America :: Mexico Chemicals sector rail traffic levels flat3:46 PM MST | January 31, 2013 | Vincent Valk Chemicals sector rail traffic in North America was flat year-on-year (YOY) during the week ended 26 January, at 41,843 cars, according to the Association of American Railroads (AAR; Washington). US traffic was down 2.1%, to 29,780 cars. Candian traffic rose 4.3%, to 10,723 cars, while Mexican traffic increased 15.3%, to 1,340 cars. Traffic fell from the prior week's totals.
