Chemicals Sector Rail Traffic Falls 2%

Chemicals sector rail traffic in North America fell 2% year-on-year during the week ended December 10, to 39,512 cars, according to the Association of American Railroads (AAR; Washington). U.S. traffic fell 1.1%, to 28,049 cars, AAR says. Canadian traffic fell 4.9%, to 10,371 cars, while Mexican traffic rose 5.1%, to 1,092 cars.
