Brenntag Acquires Mexican Specialty Chemicals Distributor

Brenntag says it has acquired Amco Internacional (Mexico City, Mexico), a distributor of aroma chemicals, essential oils, and food ingredients for the flavors and fragrances market. Financial terms were not disclosed. Amco, which sells most of its chemicals under its own brand name, operates four distribution centers in Mexico as well as sites in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala and Perú.
